Another LAN Party

There will be a LAN Party March 5 2010 at Herkimer County Community College. I am no longer a direct member of the CNT club up there due to the jobs but I’ll ATTEMPT to get some posters in the greater Utica/Rome area possible even the high schools in the area (LAN parties were originally a recruiting tool) Most of the game stores in the valley will have a poster if I get my way! It is the first one of the year so it would be awesome if it were big.

There is a LAN party going on at my local college, Herkimer County Community College in Herkimer NY. Near Utica or Syracuse NY.

Food is included in the admission price which is $5 which benefits the local CNT Club
7:00 pm - 2:00 am 10/16/2009

We will be playing mainly UT2004 and Counterstrike Source in the first half

Then Starcraft During the second half. (BGH and Fastest for those in the “know”)

Powerbook = Design Fail

So im trying to fix this gods damn laptop. Thats right a fucking powerbook G4 12″. Anyone ever try to take one of these things apart? nightmare. period. Especially when you have to disassemble  THE WHOLE THING to remove something as simple as the CD/DVD drive. WTF who designs these things interiors. I know from experience that the 15″ and 17″ versions werent nearly this horrible. They were much like their replacements the Macbook Pro. The problem is I need to fix this in order to get a job I’ve been hacking at getting. FML.

RIAA needs to die (now.) ((As if they didnt need to before?))

Did you hear the news, The RIAA just sued another person for an unreal amout. The number you ask? $22,000 USD per song for 30 songs. Thats $675,000! I could see how they could theoretically come up with this number. They assume the person who seeded downloaded to another person who seeded for another person and so on exponentially. So why not just charge everyone who has ever uploaded a song INFINITY dollars RIAA? HUH!

Interview rage

So Im in for a couple interviews, That I had actually shown up in advance to personally hand hr a resume to, I personally thought both went very well as at both of them it was stated we’ll be “contacting” you for another interview. Contact came in the form OF MORE GODDAMN REJECTION LETTERS. I swear im going to start to frame these.

Looking for a job

I’m looking for a job in the Utica/Syracuse area. I would post a link to my resume, but with the recent “activity” here it would be like going outside in a crowded city and shouting my social security number.

Nonetheless I looking for something along the lines of IT, preferably technician work.
